Recipes: A Simple Margharita
A simple recipe for a golden state of mind...
This season, we are reaching for our arch tumblers - a gorgeous vessel for a mixed beverage. With beach season upon us, we’ve developed a cocktail that features just the right amount of citrus and sour offset with a sweet salty rim.
Ingredient List:
Casa Dragones or Patron Tequila
Grand Marnier
Simple Syrup
Two Limes
Alaea Red Sea Salt
Recipe:
In a cocktail shaker, mix 2 parts tequila and 1 part lime juice. Add the zest of the lime, a splash of simple syrup and a squeeze of orange juice. Taste and adjust to your preference.
Take your arch tumbler - we like to chill ours - and rub the squeezed orange around the rim. Dip in Alaea Red Sea salt sea salt. Put crushed ice in each tumbler and add a few thinly sliced lime pieces to the side then pour your ice cold margarita. If you’re feeling frisky, top with a splash of Grand Marnier.
Enjoy!
